Agora Lledó International School in Spain has once again established itself as a school of reference both on the national and European scene by reaching first position nationally and fifth place in Europe on the Best IB schools list, with more than 5,200 schools presented for evaluation.
Agora Lledo exceeded its previous score from 2018, which made it appear at the top of the list that year, with a new, improved average mark of 37.1 points this year. This demonstrates the years. Agora Lledo International School has growing international ambitions and these are reinforced by consistently outstanding IB results.
The school, in Castellón, joined Globeducate in 2006 and since then it has become one of the most well-respected and prestigious private international schools in the Valencian Community. A fully English/Spanish bilingual curriculum is the proposition, with the opportunity to study the International Baccalaureate Diploma and to follow the Spanish national curriculum. Students are able to take part in the Host Family Programme to welcome foreign students, and younger children will benefit from the development of the Primary Years Programme (PYP).
“In 2018 we were already in the top 1 in Europe but in 2019 we were “only” in the top 3 in Spain and 14 in Europe, so now we are at the top in Spain and top 5 in Europe. We had never been in the top 50 in the wide world as this year”.
Luis Madrid, Principal of Agora Lledó
“These results are a reflection of the work of many years by a team of great professionals, who are very committed to our students. We aspire that each class graduateing from our school is prepared to be able to shape the world, and this is what makes the teaching and non-teaching staff of Globeducate very proud”.
