ISN Nice was founded in 1977 and was taken over by the French Riviera Chamber of Commerce in 1994. It became a member of the Globeducate network in 2019. The school’s excellent exam results and University placement records have made ISN Nice an essential part of the educational infrastructure on the Côte d’Azur. ISN provides an Anglophone programme for students aged 3 to 18 years (Young Explorers to Grade 12), culminating in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB). The International School of Nice is an IB World School, and is fully accredited by two international agencies – the European Council for International Schools (CIE), and the Middle States Association of the United States (MSA).
ISN Nice is a clear reflection of the international community on the French Riviera with an enrolment of 42 nationalities including British, American, French, Russian, Scandinavian, Italian, German, and Dutch students. The average length of stay for students is six years, and more students are completing their entire primary and secondary education at the school. The teaching staff is composed mainly of British, American and French teachers.
ISN Nice is recognised by the International Baccalaureate Organisation of Geneva, and offers the Primary Years Programme (PYP) to grades Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 5, and IB courses to grades 11 & 12. In grades 9 and 10, students prepare a selection of IGCSE examinations.
The school’s vision is to prepare today’s learners to confidently embrace challenges as adaptable, empathetic global citizens who will be active contributors for a more sustainable world.
